HMIE progress report 2023

Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education visited the school in January 2022 to review the school’s progress in taking forward the recommendations from our original inspection. They were pleased with the progress that the school had made, however recognised that more time was needed to embed new approaches to raise attainment. 

HMIE asked Aberdeenshire Council to provide them with further information about the school’s progress within one year of the publication of this letter. This report, outlining our progress and next steps on our journey of improvement, has been shared with HMIE who were very satisfied with the school’s capacity for continued improvement. This means that HMIE will discontinue engagement with the school however we will continue to keep you informed of our progress & improvement priorities through our usual channels of communication.
